The Portal Pickup

 

 

The Portal pickup is a variation of the basic scheme found in My Potbelly and Fountain pickups.

 

The difference here ... the Portal utilizes a unique material to "draw" the magnetic field generated by powerful neodymium-iron-boron magnets ... up through the coil and across the strings ...

 

The coil is wound with 38 AWG Magnet Wire
